that guy knew what must be done to win...he stretched out his hands and sent out multiple ki blast from his hands that homed in on goku who was unable to move unless he wanted to get blown away.

Goku realized that he was being outdone. The balls of ki hit him on his sides but he still hold strong. Then, in a last ditch effort he decided to lean forward, and then kick the ground, sending him and his beam forwards towards That Guy in a last ditch collission attempt.

that guy did not want to lose, so he also jumped forward with the attack, hoping he could end this struggle. whoever could survive the combined attacks of goku and that guy, would be the victor.

The beams met, and then upon Goku's Arms hitting That Guys face, the beams fizzed out, but because of the obvious limb disadvantage they both fell in That Guy's direction, and Goku ended up falling straight onto that Guy. He got up somehow and panted, knowing that he was at the limit of his power.

that guy stood for a moment...limp and still in black and white...he said "if i cant win then you cant either, its obvious that your serious about this fight....*pants*...i wont lose to you" that guy walks backwards and steps out of the arena "after all, i want to root for you in the finals...good luck goku and thank you for letting me test my strength against you in this fight, ill fight you when i get stronger, i can promise you that" that guy walked away and picked up a piece of ham and threw it to goku, eat up, yer gunna need the strength for later" that guy had thrown the match....goku was the winner.
